I’m thrilled to announce our Chain Development Kit (CDK) – a software suite that empowers builders to launch their own fully-featured ZK-powered L2s.

Polygon CDK is the evolution of Supernets.  Now builders can easily customise and deploy their own appchains, with added features from Polygon’s ZK technology. This lets builders safely settle to Ethereum and seamlessly interoperate with other ZK-powered L2s.  

Polygon CDK is the access point for developers to unlock the benefits of Polygon 2.0:  

1) Infinite scalability: the open nature of the CDK makes it easy for anyone to settle to Ethereum.  Blockspace is no longer a scarce resource – we’re truly in the age of permissionless innovation

2) Unified liquidity: any interconnected L2s have automatic access to the liquidity of all Polygon 2.0 chains, and one-click access to the entire liquidity of Ethereum.

We’re seeing more and more L2s built on the CDK – from the Polygon zkEVM (live in production) to @Immutable and @CapX (both in live testnet) to @palmfdn , @gnosispay , @idexio and @aavegotchi , all in development.  Around the corner are countless more, including yours!
